We’re accomplishing this by doing everything we can, everyday, to add to the quality of our work in every way possible.
From the engineering effort to the real world application of our products, we never forget the importance of the role your satisfaction plays in our success. We don’t claim perfection but we do deliver dedication by listening to your needs and promoting our ability to satisfy those needs during consistently clear and truthful transactions and ready and willing customer service.
We can promise to provide you with more ‘bang for your bucks’ on every product we sell and at every relative price point.
And we’re just as easy to contact after your purchase as we are before. We won’t even try to display, advertise or otherwise promote any of our products and services in such a way as to cloak a ‘hidden catch’ or from your point of view, a sobering disappointment.
In other words, just like ‘anti-spam’ software, we have developed an ‘anti-scam’ program, where by design, you can depend on our claims, our products, our service, our word. The mandate for integrity at every level of our operations deeply and positively affects our products.
You benefit by unusually fair pricing, or extraordinary performance, or a pleasing combination of both. This is why we confidently claim, Equation Audio is “Beyond Equal.”

General Equation Microphone Development Ideology
It isn’t enough to simply go to a vendor overseas, choose a mic product, perhaps disguise it’s origins with paint and labels, marketing such with exaggerated claims of self-design and unique origins. A valve or tube microphone is expected to impart a sonic signature that is professional, original and unique to the brand name it bears.
At Equation Audio, before we made our mics, we acquired very special Intellectual Property from one of the industry’s best ‘microphone gurus’, Fred Cameron, as well as our team’s historical involvement with other ground-breaking brands.
Our core development team members were the core engineering team that created the widely acclaimed ‘CAD Equitek Series’, credited with being a ‘founding’ brand behind the revolution of the studio microphone market that began in the early 1990′s.
Equation Audio Mics Onstage with The Moody Blues
The microphone industry has been in transition for years. Once the proud domains of mainly the U.S. and Europe, Japan eventually became a serious player, followed by Taiwan and then of course, now dominated in many segments by China. China can and does bring price relief to our industry, allowing many end-users to purchase a level of microphone performance not available elsewhere . . . unfortunately, there has been and remains a negative side to the cost reductions.
Where a few manufacturers simply arrogantly claim anything made outside of Europe or the U.S. is of comparatively lower quality, others claim that it’s all about the engineering abilities of an organization. The truth is capable engineers live in China as well as Germany and the U.S. and competent manufacturing exists around the world as well.
What’s really important is the total team involved in the design, manufacture and distribution of a product.
not simply geography or nationality and at Equation Audio, we span the last couple of decades with a proven history of innovation in design, material and process integration and distribution, under a couple of successful brands, adding Equation to the list in the summer of 2003.
The Equation development, production and marketing teams are more experienced than ever and maintain a constantly evolving and improving design and manufacturing capability as well as the latest tools for market distribution.
We don’t imitate, we create . . .
We don’t hide our various national involvements, we celebrate them . . .
We don’t attempt or tolerate deception, in design, during production, within our marketing group and after our product is in your hands.
Equation Audio is currently producing products that absolutely amaze many of our buyers simply because they live up to our most significant claim . . .
